Why is my partner not sleeping at night?
I am at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show. CES is the largest annual convention in Las Vegas. Blue light was discussed today and how it causes insomnia.
Blue light is a color in the light spectrum which produces higher amount of energy. The light can cause eyestrain, fatigue, headaches and sleeplessness. Blue light is found on our digital screens (TVs, Smartphones, computers, laptops, tablets and gaming systems), electronic devices, LED and fluorescent lighting.
Two (2) hours before bedtime, try not to look at your digital devices. Best to read a book or magazine which will allow your body to develop melatonin which is needed for a full nights sleep.
